Edward E. Bolin, 88, of Sullivan passed away 7:45 p.m. Saturday (June 19, 2004) in St. Mary's Hospital.
Private family graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Camfield Cemetery, Sullivan. There will be no visitation. McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials: American Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Foundation.
Edward was born June 3, 1916, in Kirksville, the son of Earl Skase and Leila Evans Bolin. He was a retired asbestos worker for Local 17, Chicago. He was a member of Christian Church, Findlay. He married Joy Shadow in 1936. She preceded him in death in 1990.
Surviving are his sons, James D. Bolin of Shelbyville; Michael Edward Bolin of Jewett; daughter, Rose Mary Wood of Sullivan; sister, Aleitha Walker of Sullivan; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters, one brother and one grandson.
