Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer (Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois), Thursday, December 27, 1945:
Mrs. Elizabeth Adamick, aged 83, who resided on RR 2 in Collinsville died at St. Joseph hospital in Highland Wednesday evening at 6:15 from an illness which she had suffered the past three weeks. She had lived in Collinsville township the last 44 years.
She was born in Austria on November 12, 1862 and was married June 16, 1890, in St. Louis to John Adamick, who preceded her in death on Jan. 12, 1937.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Grego and Mrs. Anna Meek, both of Edwardsville, four sons, John and Albert Adamick of Collinsville, Vincent Adamick of Lenox, Mo., and Benjamin Adamick, one brother and sister William and Anna Rathj of St. Louis, and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Herbert A. Kassly funeral home in Collinsville at 8:30 Saturday morning to the SS Peter and Paul's Catholic church in Collinsville for mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
