Funeral Services for David Barlot who at Parksburg, were conducted at the Christian Church here Monday by Rev Battenfield of Olney.
Uncle Davy was 88 years of age, a pioneer of Bonpas
Barrens. Well know by everone and re-owned for his ability use in earlier days board ax, maul and wedge was a Carpenter of early school. A hard worker has reared a large family, all of whom were able to follow his remains to their last resting place the Calhoun Burial Ground. His passing leaves but a few older than he in his locality who bore the brunt of settlement.

David Bartlett is dead at Burg. David Bartlett 88 years old, died here at the home of his son-in-law James Higgins Sunday.

David Bartlett, 88 years old died here Sunday had reputation of being the best man with a broadaxe ever in the country. In the days when all framing timbers were the product of this tool the ability to excell in its use was no small accomplishment.
