Robert E. Beesley, 72, of Mulberry Grove, died at 4:02 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Graveside services with military rites will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at Browning Cemetery in rural Vandalia, with the Rev. Norris Price officiating. There is no visitation. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Woburn Baptist Church in Woburn.
Mr. Beesley was born on Feb. 13, 1938, in Fayette County, the son of Robert Adolph and Grace Ordelle Manston Beesley.
He is survived by his mother, of New Lisbon, Wis.; and son, Terry Beesley and his wife Cassie of Vandalia
