-Mrs. Tennie Z. Bondi, 77, of 409 N. Broad St., widow of the late I.I. Bondi, died Friday at 8:30 p.m. in Cottage Hospital. Death was due to a heart condition and she had been ill for 10 days.
Tennie Z. Zuzak was born at Louisiana, Mo., Dec. 13, 1877, and she was married to Isidor I. Bondi at Boonville, Mo., July 26, 1911. She was graduated from the Boonville High School. She was of the Jewish faith.
Mrs. Bondi was active in the Catherine Club for several years, having served as treasurer and director. She was also a member of the Children's Room Association of Cottage Hospital for many years.
LEAVES SON, DAUGHTER
Surviving are a son, A.M. Bondi, and a daughter, Mrs. Joseph E. (Helen Jo) West, both of Galesburg. She also leaves two sisters, the Misses Helen and Amy Zuzak, of Boonville; a sister-in-law, Mrs. H.E. Bondi, Galesburg, and four grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. in the Hinchliff and Pearson Funeral Chapel. Rabbi Philip Gershon of Cincinnati, Ohio, will officiate and burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday between the hours of 2 and 4 p.m. and between 7 and 9 p.m.
