Howard Merlin Bagby Sr., 76, of Mason City died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at his residence.
He was born March 31, 1932 in Mason City, the son of John and Myrtle (Patterson) Bagby. He married Doris Patterson on October 1, 1955 in Mason City; she survives.
Survivors are three sons: Howard Bagby, Steve Bagby and Joe (Alisa) Bagby; one brother: Norman Bagby; two sisters, Betty Sparks and Dixie Bergman.
He is preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Burial will be in Big Grove Cemetery in Mason County.
