He was the husband of Nancy Quinn born abt 1752 Ireland, and son of William Beer and Mary Lowery
ROBERT BEER - - born in Ireland April 21, 1750. Came to America in 1765, settling in Pennsylvania. He served in the war from Northampton county, 6th Co, 6th Bat., commanded by Col. Jacob Stroud. He also was an Indian spy. He came to Fulton Co and died there. Buried in Beer Cemetery in Young, Hickory Twp., 3 miles west of Fairview.
