| Birth: | Jun. 24, 1930 | | Death: | Sep. 12, 2003 |  John B. Lorenzi, 73, of Lincoln died Friday (Sept. 12, 2003) at 3:50 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Keys Cemetery, rural Beason.
A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Mr. Lorenzi retired from the Illinois Department of Revenue in Springfield. He was also a professional musician and drummer.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines and played in the Marine Corps band
He was born June 24, 1930, in Ottawa to Bart and Lucille Comcioli Lorenzi.
Survivors are one son, John C. Lorenzi of Springfield; two daughters, Yvonne Matson of Lincoln and Mary (and Gary) Richard of Springfield; two grandchildren; and one brother, James Lorenzi of Mokena.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He was a member of Holy Family Church in Lincoln, American Legion Post 263, American Federation of Musicians Local 301 and Rotary International.
