Miss Lottie Miller, daughter of James and Ellen Miller was born in Lawrence County, Ky., 1866, departed this life August 18, 1921, at the age of 56 years, 10 months and 29 days. She was united in marriage to Andrew Garrison in 1886. To this union was born four children, 3 boys and 1 girl; namely Leo, Ray and Guy and Rado. Rado died in infancy.
In 1894 she was united in marriage to Wm. G. Boswell. To this union was born two sons and one daughter; Emery, John and Noma, all of whom preceded her to the better.
Lottie was a faithful wife and a loving mother and will be missed by all who knew her. She was converted in her early life and joined the Methodist church where she lived a faithful Christian until death. She leaves a husband, three sons, one stepdaughter, Mrs. Charley Bailey of Wayne City and one stepson, Charley Boswell of Morehouse, Mo.; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Non of Wayne City and Narado of Sims and a host of relatives and friends to mourn their loss.
Sister Boswell always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and her death was a great shock to the community.
Funeral services were conducted at Olive Branch Aug. 19 by Rev. Terry H. Thompson of Keenes, an acquaintance of Sister
Boswell for thirty years. Brother Thompson used as his text the Second Chapter of James, the 18th verse, "Yea a man may say thou hast faith and I have works, shew me thy faith with . . .
