James Alfred Bruner, 73, of Wayne City, died Wednesday at his home.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon from the Olive Branch church with interment in the church cemetery. The Richardson Funeral Home was in charge.
Mrs. Bruner was born in Hamilton county June 28th, 1893, the son of John and Ida Richardson Bruner.
On May 26th, 1919, he was married to Pauline Black.
He was a member of the Olive Branch church and a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are his widow, two sons, James Jr of Kirkwood, Mo and Robert of Bridgeton, Mo, five daughters, Mrs. Imogene Parsons of Toledo, Oh, Mrs Greta Rost of Delafield, Mrs Ina McManus of Cahokia, Mrs Lois Norris of St Louis, Mo and Mrs Norma Modglin of Daly City, Calif. 23 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. three brothers Bill Bruner of Wayne City, Randall Bruner of St Louis, Mo and Donald Bruner of Twisp, Wash., two sisters, Mrs Golda Hood of Fairfield and Mrs Violet Moore of St Louis, Mo
