Mrs. Owen Beach Dies in Florida
Frank N. Sears received a telegram last Saturday telling of the death of his sister, Mrs. Owen Beach, of Leesburg, Fla. As yet particulars have not been heard. Louise Sears Beach was born in this town in 1858 and for many years sewed for a number of the town people. She was married at the Sears home to Owen Beach of Ferrisburg Center, by the Rev. C.A. Bradford and then went to Victor, Colo., to reside. After several years the family moved to Florida, where they bought a large fruit grove and Mr. Beach built his own home there. Mrs. Beach is survived by her husband, three daughters, two grandchildren, and three brothers. (Burlington Free Press, Burlington, VT, September 5, 1936)
