ST. ALBANS -- Mr. Stephen A. Aldrich, age 47, died Thursday morning, Feb. 26, 2004, at the Northwestern Medical Center, after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in St. Albans, Oct. 30, 1956, son of the late Gerald and Leona (Pearo) Aldrich. He worked in maintenance for McDonalds here in St. Albans for over 20 years. He was a drummer for the bands Cartune, Second Avenue, and many others.
Stephen is survived by his two sons, Eric Stephen Aldrich and Justin Michael Aldrich, both of Swanton; his former wife and best friend, Rose Chaperon of Enosburg; his two sisters, Carol Gagne and her husband John (Pete) of Barre, and Shelley Maskell of Swanton; two step-brothers Ronald Gray of Seymore, Conn. and Gary Gray of Berwick, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Gerald in 1978; and his mother Leona in 1984.
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 1, 2004, at 11 a.m. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. There will be no public calling hours. Interment will be in the spring in Greenwood Cemetery.
