EDWARD N. ABRAMSON
MANCHESTER - Edward N. Abramson, 72, owner and operator of the Arrow Head grocery store here, died Wednesday afternoon.
He was born in Gardo, Pa., May 28, 1892, son of Charles and Elizabeth (Sandquist) Abramson.
Mr. Abramson was a member of the U.S. Signal Corps in France in World War I. He was a member of the Manchester American Legion Post.
A graduate of North Western Business School in Watertown, N.Y., he moved to Vermont 52 years ago and had operated the store for 38 years.
Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Burroughs; two daughters, Miss Betty Abramson of Greenwich, Conn., and Mrs. Elsie Dufresne of Manchester Depot; one son, Arnold of Manchester Depot; seven grandchildren, a great grandson and a brother, Carl Abramson of Manchester Depot.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 pm at the Brewster Funeral Home in Manchester Center by the Rev. Godfrey Parker, pastor of the Manchester Baptist Church. Burial will be in Dellwood Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home oday from 7 to 9 pm.
