Mary "Louise” Albano, 83, a resident of Enfield for fifty-eight years, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford. She was the widow of the late Salvatore “Sam” Albano who predeceased her in 1999 after fifty-two years of marriage. Louise was born in Somers and was the daughter of the late Francis and Eva (Provencher) Cormier. In her younger years she worked at the former Bigelow-Sanford Carpet Company in Thompsonville. A homemaker, wife and mother, Louise also worked as a part-time waitress at the former Riverview Dairy. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church and enjoyed her trips to the casinos. She leaves three sons: Salvatore J. “Sam” Albano of Somers and his companion, Kimberly Angelo; Thomas J. Albano of Enfield and his companion, Linda Smith; and Gary B. Albano and his wife Joanne of Enfield; a daughter, Ann Marie Rossi of Indian Orchard, MA and her companion, Robert Wheeler; six grandchildren: Julie and Lindsey Albano, Michael Hackstock and his wife, Shannon, Kristina Hackstock, Ashley Albano and Jennifer Patsellis; two great grandchildren: Alyssa and Dominic. In addition to her late husband, Louise was also predeceased by her brother, Francis Cormier as well as her three sisters: Dora Russell, Barbara Otolski and Florida Romano. Family and friends are cordially invited to Mrs. Albano’s Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, August 11 at 10 AM in Holy Family Church, 23 Simon Road, Enfield. Burial in Saint Patrick’s King Street Cemetery will follow the Mass. There are no calling hours. Please meet directly at Holy Family Church for the Mass on Thursday at 10 AM.
