Ball, Alfred
Alfred Ball, beloved husband of Kathleen Ball of Calgary, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and care nurses on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at the age of 75 years.
Alfred was born in Preston, Lancashire on August 23, 1928 and was educated at Preston Catholic College by the Jesuits. He later immigrated to Canada and was employed in the oil and gas industry. After retirement from Canadian Tricentrol as Land Manager, he consulted for Petro Canada. Alfred was a faithful man to God and his Church, he was devoted to the Blessed Sacraments, sang in the Church Choir, enjoyed bridge and the Senior's Group. He loved all sports especially cricket.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife Kathleen, his children, Karen, Michael and Sara, and their families including his fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Susan in 1997.
