William Little, a well known resident of Burleigh county, died at the home of his sons, James and Arthur Little of Canfield Tuesday morning at 7:30 o’clock. Mr. Little sustained a severe rupture a short time ago and this was the immediate cause of his death.
William Little was born in Ireland 57 years ago. He came over to Canada and lived for a number of years in Ontario. From Ontario he emigrated to the United States about ten years ago. He came to Burleigh county and was known as a respected farmer in the community wherein he resided.
He was survived by six sons and two daughters. They are James, Arthur, Albert and Roy Little of Canfield, N.D., Herbert Little of Baldwin, and George Little who is at present working in South Dakota; Mrs. Jas. King of Aetna, N.D., and Miss Elizabeth Little, who is a nurse in a hospital in New York City.
The funeral will occur in all probability on next Thursday and interment will be at Wilton.
