ROBERT HEIDBRINK PASSES

Robert Heidbrink, farmer living northeast of Ruskin, died early Saturday morning at his home from a self inflicted bullet wound. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Heidtbrink (sic) was a widower and his sister had been staying with him. His daughter, Mrs. Ed Grosshans had been called because of his illness but did not reach home before his death.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon at Arendts' Funeral Home in Deshler. Interment was in St. Mark's cemetery (sic).

OBITUARY OF ROBERT HEIDBRINK

Friedrick Robert Heidbrink was born on March 25, 1890, at Freedom, Missouri. He was the son of Henry Heidbrink and his wife Freiderike, nee Kixmuller. As an infant, he was baptized in the Lutheran church of the place of his birth.

In early childhood, the deceased came with his parents to Byron, Nebr., where they made their home. He was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Byron in the year 1904.

On November 30, he was united in marriage to Mary Collmann. This union was blessed with one daughter. His wife preceded him in death.

For more than 50 years, the deceased lived in the vicinity of Byron and Deshler. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Ruskin. He left this life early Saturday morning, May 22, at the age of 58 years, 1 month and 27 days.

He is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Grosshans, of Scott City, Kans.; 3 brothers, Ernest of Lincoln, Henry of Chester, and Oliver of Odell; three sisters, Mrs. William Heider of Deshler, Marie Heidbrink of Inglewood, Cal., and Leona Heidbrink of Oak.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon, May 25, at the Ahrendts Funeral Home, with the Rev. E.B. Hilst, of Chester, officiating. Interment was made in St. Mark's cemetery (sic) near Ruskin.
