Dr. Oran C. Asa, 95, died Monday in a Hastings hospital.
He was a 1908 graduate of old Cotner University Medical School in Lincoln and began his practice in Ong the year of his graduation.
He also maintained offices in Edgar for several years. He retired 20 years ago and moved to Hastings.
Dr. Asa was a 50-year Mason and member of the Scottish Rite and Shrine. He held the Jordan bronze medal from Lily Lodge of Davenport.
Healso was a member of the Nebraska and Adams County Medical Societies.
Survivors include a son, Cecil, Talmage; daughters, Mrs. John McMilland, Hastings, and Mrs.Robert Bell, Chicago; a sister, Mrs. Stella Rue, Humboldt, and five grandchildren.
