Sharon K. Lukas Burtnett Degener, 48, Blue Hill, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, in Bryan Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

She was a former Superior resident.

The funeral was Friday at 2 p.m., in the Simonsen-Williams Funeral Home Chapel, Red Cloud. The Rev. Earl Reed was the officiant. Burial was in Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Webster County.

Mrs. Degener was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Blue Hill and raised in Mound City, Mo.

A 1959 graduate of Mound City High School, she and her husband, Roy Burtnett, lived in Superior.

She married Robert Degener April 11, 1969, in Axtell where they lived. They moved to their farm south of Blue Hill in 1974.

Survivors are her husband; one son, Frank, Red Cloud; one daughter, Christina Burtnett, Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; two step-daughters, Clorissa Najar of Pueblo, Colo., and Leza Heitsman of Kansas City, Mo.; one step-son, David, Red Cloud; her father, John Lukas, Red Cloud; one brother, Jim Lukas, Kearney; one sister, Mrs. Jimmy Shaw (Kathy), Wood River; and three step-grandchildren.
