I saw you the night before you perished at An Hoa. You were a good officer but a better friend. All that knew you will always remember you, even all these years later. Almost home but decided to fly once more. A good friend to the very end and I will never forget you. SEMPER FI ALWAYS! Bob Wahl, 5th Marines, lst Marine Division, 1970 An Hoa.
Friend and Fellow Marine: Thinking of You Today - 39 Years Later. What can I say old friend? I hope you know that 39 years later I still remember your life. It won't be too long until I see you again. Semper Fi Frank! Cliff Fox, Long Beach, California, firstname.lastname@example.org.
Served, with him, in 5th Marines: A fine Marine Officer, a close comrade-in-arms, and a tragic loss. I was so deeply saddened when I answered that radio call in the 5th Marine's bunker, reporting to us he'd been killed. As years go by, I'm ever more angry for the senselessness of his loss. I deeply honor, your memory and friendship Frank. Maj Roland Monette, RMonette@blomand.net
