A YOUNG NUN'S LAST HOURS.
Sister Mary Caroline Takes Full Vows on Her Death Bed.
Sister Mary Caroline died at St. Joseph's hospital at 2 o'clock this morning. She had been ailing a short time with malarial fever, but her affection was not thought to dangerous until yesterday, when she began to sink rapidly. She was only 18 years of age, and had joined the sisterhood of St. Francis but three months ago. When it became apparent that she was dying, Vicar General Choka was summoned, and on her death bed she took her habit as a nun and made her perpetual vows. The only relative she has in America is a sister in West Point, this state, who has been notified of her death. Arrangements for the funeral will made as soon as her sister can be heard from.
