Arthur Ward ABRAHAM was the son of Arthur and Rosalind "Rose" ABRAHAM. He was born in Douglas County, Nebraska on January 28, 1915 and had two older siblings: a half-brother, Russell Mansfield ABRAHAM, whose mother, Elizabeth "Bessie" ABRAHAM, née MANSFIELD, had died from pneumonia shortly after Russell's birth; and a sister, Bernice Catharine ABRAHAM whose mother was Rose.
