To hold Andresen rites in Bladen church Sunday

BLADEN, Neb. - Funeral services will be held here Sunday at the Methodist church at 3 p. m. for Mrs. Henry Andresen, 87, pioneer Otoe county resident who died Friday afternoon.

Born Amelia L. Neu at Spades, Ind., Nov. 12, 1856, she came to Nebraska with her parents following the Civil war, settling in Nebraska City where she married Henry Andresen in 1875. Their home was at Douglas, Neb., from 1886 to 1917, when they moved to Bladen. Her husband died July 18, 1940.

Surviving are three children - Clarence F. Andresen and Mrs. J. D. Connor, both of Bladen, and Mrs. J. E. Roberts of Lincoln, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by two children, Edward Andresen, who died in infancy, and Mrs. Lillian Hagel, who died in 1916. Burial will be in Balden (sic).
