George Owen for many years a resident of Odessa died at his home northeast of Amherst Wednesday September 16.The funeral service was preached by Rev. Wagner Friday morning at the U.B. at Amherst. He was buried at Dove Hill Cemetery. He leaves five sons and three daughters to mourn his loss. All but two of his sons were present at his death.
