Lenora E (Lautenschlager) Augustin, 77, of 1916 W Ninth St died Saturday, April 2, 1994 at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.

Services are Tuesday at Christ Lutheran Church north of Juniata with the Revs Ron Krause and Michael Knox officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery at Juniata.

Mrs Augustin was born May 12, 1916 to John and Christine (Asmussen) Lautenschlager in Howard County. She was baptized May 28, 1916 in Worms and confirmed June 23, 1929 at St Paul's Lutheran Church in Doniphan. She attended elementary school in rural Hall County. On Dec 20, 1936, she married Wesley Augustin. They farmed north of Juniata. After retiring they moved to Hastings. She worked at Sears, Roebuck Co for several years.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML), Ladies Guild and Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors are one son, Aaron of Juniata; one sister, Esther Brand of St Louis, Mo.; two brothers, Norman Lautenschlager of Doniphan and Harold Lautenschlager of Grand Island; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Jackson-Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
