Bloomfield--Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Alexander,82, were held Oct. 26, at Christ Memorial United Methodist Church in Bloomfield. Burial was in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Emil Hintz, Lloyd Kriz, Michael Algy, Neil Alexander, Curt Alexander and Clark Stockings.
Julia Kriz Alexander, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Kriz, was born June 10, 1886 at Center. She died Oct.23 at the Good Samaritian Rest Home in Bloomfield.
As a young girl she worked in Creighton, Center and Bloomfield. She married George Henry Alexander Aug.8,1906. They spent the greater portion of their married life on a farm seven miles northwest of Bloomfield. In 1957 they moved to town.
Survivors include five children, Ralph of Omaha, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Upah of Yucaipa, Calif., Harold of Wausa, Faie of Wadsworth, Ill., and Dale of Bloomfield; 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Rosa Tyler .
She was proceeded in death by her husband; one daughter, Elsie; four brothers and two sisters.
