Loretta F. Adams, 61, of West Caldwell died on Jan. 20, 2008, at Hospice of New Jersey, St. Josephs Hospital, Wayne.
Born in Glen Ridge and raised in Bloomfield, Loretta lived most of her life in West Caldwell. She was an international flight attendant with United Airlines for 37 years before retiring last year. She was a member of the American Flight Attendants Association.
Loretta was an active volunteer with the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover.
She was the devoted daughter of Edna Lucille (McCarthy) and the late Thomas H. Adams; loving sister of Thomas D. Adams; cherished aunt of Heather M. Adams and Kristin D. Adams-Bergen, with husband, Brian. She is also survived by her two cats, Willie and Jeffrey, and many friends.
