The text of Laurence's obituary as published in The Press (Thursday, October 3, 1985, p. 27) reads:
Linwood - Laurence J. Bour, 76, of Barr Avenue, died Tuesday at Shore Memorial Hospital. He was the owner and operator of Larry's Boat Top and Canvas Shop, formerly in Atlantic City. A former resident of McKee City, Mr. Bour was a member of the Pine Valley Rod and Gun Club. There were no immediate survivors.
