Mrs. Frank Lake, 58, Dies at Tetley Home In Vandalia, Dec. 23

Mrs. Frank Lake, 58, died Saturday, Dec. 23, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tetley, of Vandalia. She had been ill for about seven weeks.

She was born Louise Ernestine Fiedler, daughter of Augustus and Mary Groeschel Fiedler, at Peru, Ill. She was married to Frank Lake and to this union were born four sons and two daughters, who survive with the husband. They are: Mary Steiling of Shobonier, Warren Lake at home, and Mrs. Herbert Cleary, Mrs. Clarence Tetley, and Margaret Lake, all of Vandalia.

Other survivors include six grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Hugo Retat and Mrs. Otto Kuehn, both of Peru, Ill., and a brother, John Fiedler, of Peru, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Lake resided for many years on a farm southwest of Vernon. Funeral services were conducted at 1 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Bear Creek Baptist church at Vernon, with the Rev. Charles Cearlock, of Moweaqua, officiating. Burial was in Tillman cemetery at Vernon.
