Spanish American War Veteran will have charge of the burial.
A former Columbian, Mr. Alread died at his home at Arthurs Station near Lexington, Wednesday. He had been ill for several months and had just returned from a Naval Hospital at Charleston, where he had undergone treatment.
Mr. Alread was connected with the Tabernacle Baptist Church. A Spanish-American War Veteran and a member of the Richland Council J.O.U.A.M.
Surviving is his widow, Mrs. Ella May Corley Alread, two sons and two daughters; John and Frank Alread of Lexington, Mrs. Roberta Lott of Augusta, Ga. and Mrs. Katie Lou Jones of Greenville.
Members of the Junior Order will serve as pallbearers, while services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles M. Griffith, assisted by the Rev. F. K. Roff.
