Mona Marie Rollins, 82, of Lake, went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 29, 2012, at her residence.
Born January 6, 1930, in Lake, she was a daughter of the late Verner and Rosa Ball. Also preceding her in death were four sisters, Sylvia, Alice, Ruth and Rebel, and four brothers, Jim, Victor, Clifton and Siegel.
Mona enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time with family and friends and attending church.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles Rollins; three daughters, Teresa (Danny) Tackett and Becky (Larry) Gore, both of Lake, and Karen (Gwen) Conley of Chapmanville; four sons, Wendell (Joann) Rollins of Chapmanville, Michael Rollins and Brad (Lonetta) Rollins, both of Lake, and Anthony (Lougenia) Rollins of Madison; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to thank Hospice for all your care and help during our time of need.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, November 2, at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Dale Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Paul Guess, Danny Tackett, Jordan Kinney, DeWayne Morgan and Curtiss Guess.
Honorary pallbearers will be Wendell Rollins, Michael Rollins, Anthony Rollins and Brad Rollins.
