LYFORD, Texas Funeral service for Harry Nance Hager, 60, formerly Ada resident, is at 4 p.m. Monday in the First United Methodist Church of Lyford.
Mr. Hager died Thursday morning at his home near Lyford. He was born November 4, 1917, in Thrall, Texas. He came to Ada with his family and moved to the Rio Grande Valley in 1945. A farmer and rancher, he was also affiliated with the Texas Highway Department. The Rev. Leo Ross will conduct the service which is under the direction of the Duddleston Funeral Home, Raymondville, Texas. Burial will be in Lyford. Mr. Hager is survived by his wife, Charlene, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Christina Mayser, Arlington, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Gladys B. Hager, Ada; and a brother, Weldon Hager, Canyon, Texas.
