Mildred graduated in 1916 from Mansfield State Normal (now Mansfield University), Mansfield, Pennsylvania with a degree in music. At the Senior Recital on June 7, 1916 she was the pianist and the music she performed was Scherzo, op. 31 by Chopin and she was part of the Ensemble with Polonaise Brillante by Kucken. Mildred married 1 May 1918 at her parent's home, Adair F. Tobias born 20 April 1897 Cohocton, Steuben County, New York son of Frederick A. Tobias and Emma B. Adair of Horseheads, New York. They resided on the Tobias farm on Upper Lake Street in Horseheads. They separated and Mildred removed to a mining town in West Virginia where she was a teacher, divorced 1 January 1921 at Towanda, Pennsylvania. Mildred returned home and again married 7 June 1921 at Millport, Chemung County, New York, Adair F. Tobias, residing on Upper Lake Street. They again divorced. In the fall of 1922 Mildred was residing at and teaching in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and University School of Music at Ann Arbor, Michigan, graduating from the latter, 24 August 1924. She was a music teacher in the public schools of Detroit and taught private lessons in her home. Mildred married 21 June 1930 at Highland Park, Wayne County, Michigan, Ewart Gladstone Donald Murray born 4 March 1898 West Zorra, Oxford, Ontario, Canada son of Peter W. Murray and Louise Mary Osmond. Ewart was an accountant with Murray Corporation where he remained for thirty years. They removed in 1946 to a fruit farm on Route 414 just south of Valois, Schuyler County, New York, growing primarily grapes. Mildred taught private music lessons in their home and played the piano each Sunday at the church in Valois. In 1963 they retired to a home on Watkins Road, Horseheads, New York. Mildred died at Arnot Ogden Hospital.
