Marilyn C. Black, 80, of Oakland City entered rest on Oct. 21, 2012 at her home.

She was born on Dec. 2, 1931 in Winslow to Hassel and Laura Ellis.

She was preceded in death by parents and husband James Black 1974, whom she married on April 7, 1950 and great granddaughter Jerica Black. She attended the First General Baptist Church in Oakland City. Was a cleaning lady for Public Services Indiana for 20 years and several other business's.

She is survived by sons: Dennis (Cathy) Black of Patoka. Daniel (Valerie) Black of Grayson, Ky.

Sister: Connie (Bob) Dill of Mesa, Ariz.

Grandchildren: Jason, Nathan and Nick Black and Erin Willis.

Great Grandchildren: Chase Willis, Laura, Sarah and Kaylee Black.

Graveside services will be Sunday Oct. 28, 2012 2 p.m. at Montgomery Cemetery with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
