RUTH LONDENBERG, 85, of Waco died Tuesday, January 26, 1999 at a local nursing home.
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 29, 1999 at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston. The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors in Waco, Texas.
Ruth was born May 18, 1913 in McLennan County, Texas to parents, Charles W. and Rachel (Goodman) Burt. She was a long time Waco resident and was a former Houston resident. She was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church in Waco and was previously a member of Richmond Plaza Baptist Church in Houston. She was married to Alfred Londenberg for 36 years who preceded her in death in 1972.
She was also preceded in death by one great granddaughter, Laura D. Wittner in 1993 and one sister and five brothers
Survivors include two sons, John A. Londenberg and his wife, Suzanne of Waco and Ronald W. Londenberg of Houston; four grandchildren, Donna Londenberg, Patricia Wittner, Sherry Johnson and Paul Londenberg all of Waco; six great grandchildren; one brother, Billy B. Burt of Waco; one sister, Juanita McBride of Oregon.
