Gordan, 71, of Rigby, passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at his home.

He was born January 30, 1941, in Bakersfield, California to Ross Muma and Dorothy Patereau Muma. He was raised and attended schools in Ransburg, California. Following his graduation from Ransburg High School he enlisted in the U. S. Navy. He served from 1959 to 1966, and received his training on submaries, specializing in nuclear energy. He spent 9 months on the USS Enterprise, serving his country. On June 30, 1962, he married Lana Radford in Idaho Falls, Idaho; to this marriage they added three daughters and two sons. Gordon worked at Argonne National Labs engineering laboratory as a reactor operator, engineer, and procedure writer.

He enjoyed serving in the community and was a member of the Elks' Lodge. He also volunteered for the Ririe Senior Citizens Center, the Idaho Food Bank and Eastern Idaho Community Action Program. He was very precise and orderly and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lana Muma, of Rigby, daughters, Lisa D (Steve) Bunnell, of Rexburg, Melanie Kim Muma of Sunset, Utah, son, Kevin R (Renee) Muma, of Puyallup, Washington, sisters, Beverly Williamson, of Primeville, Oregon, Carol (Dale) Smith of Primeville, Oregon, Phyllis Martin, of Connecticut, Mary Muma, of Astoria, Oregon, brother, Alan Muma of Astoria, Oregon, Bruce Muma, of San Francisco, California, Warren Muma of Primeville, Oregon, Howard Muma, of Sweethome, Oregon, Quinton Muma, of Astoria, Oregon, nine grand children and five great grand children.

He was procecded in death by his parents, father in law Blaine Radford, daughter, Marcia Marie Muma and son Blain D Muma.
