Jamie Evette Cody, age 37, of Newport died, Sunday, September 11. She was preceded in death by her father Gary Cody; brother, Shayne Woodson, grandparents Barbara Heatherly, and J. Donald and Eva Cody. She is survived by her daughter Lindsey Naillon; Son, Cody Naillon; mother Peachie Cody; Sister Jeanna (Johnny) Williams; Grandfather Neil Heatherly; Sister-in-law Mechelle Woodson; Aunts, Pat Cody and Chris Wilds, Cousin, Jennie Lou Talley; Nephews Tyler Woodson and Shayne Hemminger; fiancé Larry Verbos; special friend Lynn Gunter, and a host of other friends. The funeral service will be held at 8pm Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Ransom Hall officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-8 prior to the service. Burial will be 1pm Thursday September 15, 2011 at Union Cemetery Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cody family.
