Nellie lived all over the world. She was raised in California, then moved Japan with her first husband, Tom Rowe. While in Japan, Nellie did some modeling. She moved back the the US and lived in Nevada; Hawaii; the Caribbean and finally moved to England. After she settled in London, Nellie began a career of rehabilitating flats for resale. She also had a home in Spain.
