Georgia McFarland Parrish, 61, of Chestnut Street, Georgetown, died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, at her home after several months illness. She was the wife of Billy Ray Parrish.
A native of Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Margaret Shumate McFarland and attended Northside Christian Church. She was secretary for Clark Cleveland, D.V.M.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Desley (Tony) Cummins, of Georgetown; a son, Wally (Melissa) Parrish, of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Chasity, Samantha and Holly Parrish, Mark Traylor, and Christian and Camryn Cummins, all of Georgetown; two sisters, Lola M. Shields and Deannie McFarland, both of Georgetown; and a brother, Charles William (June) McFarland, of Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Danielle Traylor.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2004, at Johnson?s Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight D. Elam officiating.
Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
Casket bearers will be Clark Cleveland, D.M.V.; Dorsie and Clifford Rattliff; Robert and Gary Dunn; Arthur Bigelow; and Victor Carr and Rex Mulberry.
