Founding member of Oakhaven Baptist Chruch.
Former president of the Oakhaven Elementary PTA.
Retired from Sears.

The first thing you noticed about Catherine was her beautiful red hair. She was a very attractive lady through out her long life.
She and Big Haywood spent many weekends at Sardis Lake where they had a summer home. While he fished, she preferred to spend her time sewing. She made at least half of the clothes she wore to work. She would often make a special outfit for holidays.
She worked full time while taking good care of her husband and 2 sons, Haywood Jr. & Ronnie. Somehow she always found time for special projects at church and was the President of the Oakhaven PTA when her 2 boys were in school. She was presented with a beautiful Coo-Coo Clock from the Black Forrest from the PTA when her service ended.
In addition to their 2 sons, she and Haywood also had 2 grand sons, 2 grand daughters and she lived to see at least of her 8 great grand children.
