Connie Lee Snyder was born June 19, 1957 to Floyd (Jerry) and Martha Bourland Snyder in Appleton City, Missouri. She spent her life taking care of others. She started out working in a nursing home. Later she worked in a hospital. Going up the ladder one step at a time, she was an aide then EMT, X-Ray Technician and finally an LPN. She worked surgery, pharmacy and laboratory. She enjoyed joking with people, although she was a very private person and didn't like being in the limelight. She made others feel comfortable. To her friends she was nicknamed "Doe" because she was always there to help out whenever needed. She accepted Christ several years ago and reaffirmed on September 30, 2012 Connie enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and gardening. Her hobbies were genealogy, woodworking, painting, quilting and cooking. She had a gift for working with her hands. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Most rewarding was her daughter and the most precious gift, her granddaughter. Preceding her in death were her parents, Jerry and Martha and 1 brother, Lonnie. Connie is survived by her daughter, Daylon and son-in-law, Joseph and granddaughter Alexis; two brothers, Dale Wayne and wife Ronnie of Clinton and Gary and wife Debbie of Lowry City; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
