HOSTETLER DEAD Prominent Citizen Died At His Home This Afternoon Was For Years Attorney At. Law, Practicing in Dover---Was Elk and K. of P. John A. Hostetler, prominent attorney and for years a respected citizen of this city, died at 1:15 o'clock this afternoon at his home in East Third street, following an illness of two weeks. He took a bad cold several weeks ago, and this developed into pleuro-pneumonia several days ago. He had been sinking for the past two days. He was born in Pennsylvania and spent the greater part of his life in this county. He was 69 years old. He is survived by his wife and three children; Harry H., Maud and Helen, all at home. He was a member of Dover lodge Knights of Pythias and a member of Dover lodge of Elks.

PROMINENT DOVER CITIZEN SUCCUMBS TO PLEURO-PNEUMONIA Canal Dover, June 12 --- The funeral services of John A. Hostetler, prominent attorney, and for years a respected citizen of this city, who died at his home in East Third street Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, following several weeks illness of cold which developed into pneumonia, will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the residence with Rev. T. W. Stengel officiating. Interment in the Maple Wood cemetery.
