He is survived by his wife; five sons. Herbert and Hubert Ducote, both of Bunkie; Hilton and Roy Ducote, both of New Orleans, and Lance Ducote of Alexandria; five daughters, Mrs. Carnot Neck, Mrs. False Poret and Mrs. Donald Bordelon, all of R.F.D., Mansura, Mrs. Louis Valois of Hessmer, and Mrs. Lawrence Kidder of Goudeau; two brothers, Willfred and Aristide Ducote, both of Cottonport; five sisters, Mrs. Leo Armand and Mrs. Kirby Juneau, both of Cottonport, Mrs. Clayton Franks of New Orleans, and Mrs. Hiliary Hairford and Mrs. Firmin Desoto, both of Plaucheville, and 16 grandchildren.
Ducote's body will be at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport until time of services at 9 a.m. Sunday in the Little Flower Catholic church in Evergreen, with Rev. H. Lajoie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
