CHAPMAN--Everett Chapman, 81, died Monday at the Malotte rest home, 3217 Cleveland, where he had made his home a year. He was born in Crawford County, Illinois, and had been a resident of Kansas City twenty-seven years. Mr. Chapman retired several years ago from the A. Reich & Sons Gardens, Inc., by whom he had been employed about nine years. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Mae F. Dulworth, Los Angeles; Mrs. Helen A. Porter, 4680 East Thirty-seventh terrace; Mrs. Maxine Schmedding, 3632 Monroe; Mrs. Gladys Cupido and Mrs. Juanita McGhee, 3707 Claremont, Jackson County, and four sons, Charles W. Chapman, 3600 Beacon; Mervin Chapman, 6207 East Thirty-fifth terrace; Emmett W. Chapman, 8021 Blue Ridge, Jackson County, and Richard L. Chapman, 3632 Monroe, and eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 1:30 o'clock this Wednesday at the Blackman chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.
