Officer Frank L. "Bud" O'Driscoll, DSN 0901, was commissioned as a Police Officer on 12/20/1976 and entered the academy. After graduating from the academy he was assigned to the 4Th District on 04/11/1977. On 07/06/1989 Officer O'Driscoll retired from the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department on a accidental disability. At the time of his service retirement Officer O'Driscoll had completed a total of 9.54 years of faithful and dedicated service to the department.
O'Driscoll, Frank L. 'Bud' Loving son of the late Frank D. and Virginia Lee O'Driscoll; dearest brother of Thomas P. (Ruby) O'Driscoll; dear uncle of Erin O'Driscoll and Maureen (Michael) Finder and the late Thomas P. O'Driscoll Jr.; dear nephew, cousin and good friend.
Frank 'Bud' was a retired St. Louis Police Officer after a work related injury.
He was a caring and compassionate man who was a friend to the needy and a life-long animal lover.
Visitation Thursday, October 11, 5:30-8 p.m. at SCHNUR Funeral Home, 3125 Lafayette Ave.
Interment Friday, 1 p.m. at Portageville Cemetery, Portageville, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri, 1201 Macklind Ave., 63110 or The Backstoppers, P.O. Box 66927, St. Louis, MO 63166.
Note: Cause of death was voluntary hanging.
