Kathryn E. Anderson, 93, of Cottontown, died on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at The Bridge at Highland.

She was born in Sumner County on March 20, 1919 to the late Albie and Alma Groves Jackson. Kathryn was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Halltown General Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James O. Anderson; son, James H. Anderson; and sister, Winnie Raybin.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Elizabeth) Anderson of Cottontown; grandchildren, Shawn Anderson of Nashville, Trever (Shannon) Anderson of Murfreesboro, Rachel (Gentry) Wheat of Murfreesboro, and Eva (Brian) Miller of Germany; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 at The Lord's Sanctuary, 734 Red River Rd, Gallatin, Tenn.
