Sidney was the son of Nicholas Weeks and Clarissa (unknown) Weeks.
Sidney died during the famous Portland, Maine storm.
Note: Two severe storms converged off the coastline of New England. The hurricane-snowstorm of 26-27 November 1898 -- that was spawned in the Gulf of Mexico. The storm was catastrophic. Lives lost is unknown, but likely between 500 to 1000 people died. In 48 hours over 300 ships were either sunk or seriously damaged. Shore towns and cities from Massachusetts to Maine were devastated by rain, sleet, and more than two feet of snow, driven by winds measured up to 110 miles per hour. Communities of summer beach cottages just vanished. It played havoc with the railway service. The storm is still called by the name of it's most prominent victim: the steamship Portland. The storm was known as "the Portland Gale".
