Obituary:
Leonard A .Worden, 89, of Mansfield died Friday, Dec. 3, 1999, at the Sayre House, Sayre. Born Feb. 3, 1910, in Laceyville, he was the son of Charles and Florence Comfort Worden. He was a retired formeman of the Mansfield University maintenance department and was a Pennsylvania game warden. Preceding him in death were his first wife, Helen, in 1975; his second wife, Lillian, in 1992; and one son, Arnold, in 1996. Surviving are one sister, Beulah Worden of Ocala, Fla.; five grandchildren and their spouses, David and Glenda Worden of Chemung, NY, Charles Worden of Avenel, NJ, Doug and Cathy Worden of Haines City, Fla., Diane and Tim Tice of Mainesburg and Cora and Doug Williams of Apalachin, NY; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Calling hours were held Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Wilston Funeral Home, Mansfield. Funeral services were held there Monday, Dec. 6, with the Rev. Kenneth Marple officiating. Burial was made at Glenwood Cemetery, Troy.
