After a lingering illness of several months, Harry Ivey passed away at a hospital in Kearney, Nebr.
Harry Albert Ivey was born at Lebanon, Mo. August 23, 1902, and died March 13, 1926, aed 23 years, 6 months, and 13 days.
He was married to Miss Violet Packard of Greeley, Nebr. on January 31, 1925, who, with a son, Raymond, aged two months, survives him.
He is also survived by three brothers, Clyde, Guy and Paul of Fullerton, and one sister, Mrs. Paul Atchley of Lebanon, Mo., three nieces and six nephews, a host of aunts, uncles and cousins, also his two aged grandmothers, Mrs. Martha Ivey of Lebanon, Mo., and Mrs. Abbie Kelsey of Philipsburg, Mo. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ivey.
His mother passed away seventeen years ago and his father nine months to the day and hour of Harry's passing.
He is a nephew of Frank Ivey of Palmer, who was unable to attend the funeral, being called to the bedside of the aged grandfather, Hartwell Ivey of Lebanon, Mo.
The funeral was held at the Congregational church at Albion, Neb., at two o'clock Tuesday afternoon, March 16th, burial being made in the cemetery at that place.
