Obit: Mrs. Mary J. Cassiday, a resident of Fort Madison for the last 30 years, died at the home of her son W. W. Cassiday, at 5:35 o'clock Tuesday evening.
Mrs. Cassiday was 94 years old at the time of her death. She would have been 95 years old on Jan. 23.
She was born near Pittsburg, Pa., moving to Iowa in 1855. In 1855 she married James Cassiday in Charleston, Iowa, moving to Ft. Madison in 1901. Mrs. Cassiday is survived by two sons, William W. and John W. Cassiday, both of this city. One daughter, Mrs. E. E. Cassiday of Sargent, Nebr., also survives her, as does one sister, Mrs. Louisa Dilley of Merino, Colorado, and one brother, A. P. Hughes of Norway, Iowa. Burial in Montrose
